Larry and Jeff's Bikes is where many old skool folks go who had previously shopped at Tommy
Avenia's uptown store in the 70's. This is Larry, James, and Larry's son Benny. Larry has ridden bikes,
mostly fixed gear, since his childhood in Jamaica. He's the one of the first in NYC to do backwards circles on a fix. It was from Larry that June, NYC fix rider extraordinaire, learned to do his backwards circles. Larry's been in the business on the Upper East Side for
over 20 years. James was a world-class track racer in Belize in the late 60's-early 70's, racing in many
Pan Am Games events.
