Old Skool Track
Orchard Beach Ride, 7/27/03
The first Old Skool Track Orchard Beach ride, July 27th, 2003. Harry, Vince, George and Greg were joined by Mike from New Jersey, John from San Francisco, and the ubiquitous Steve Klein from Time's Up and local racing circuits. We rode from Central Park through the Bronx, and out Pelham Parkway.
While at Orchard, we met up with a Cuban friend of Harry's, who has like a permanent barbecue at the beach and cooks every week. He fixed us up with arroz con gandules, pollo and ensalada. And the most outlandish lemonade we had ever tasted!
